[Fun Headline: Warm leads are here—keep reeling them in with some emotional connection. How do you greet company in your home?]

[Context and credibility: Here, it may help to remind what you do (that may also clue what you don’t do, but a warm lead will ask anyway, potentially) and push them to the form, if that suits them. ex. “I’d be honored to perform for your personal event or wedding in the Austin area—let’s get talking about availability in the form below!”.

NOTE I only recommend including that information if you are a brick & mortar physical store. DO NOT EVER share your personal phone number or home address publicly on the internet!]

 

[Let me know how long they’ll have to wait to hear back from you. Set clear expectations with this—and on the thank you page. Ex. “Some weeks are busier than others as I’m practicing and performing my little heart out, but we’ll respond within 48 business hours and look forward to chatting!”

Things to consider: 

Are you able to qualify potential clients via your form so you will already know if they will be a good fit for you? 

Service providers, do you want them to outline exactly what they are looking for, or are you going to ask something like, “which package were you interested in” with a dropdown menu? 

DEFINITELY—both product AND service providers!—include a part of the form that’s a bit open-ended of a question. Saying something like “anything else you want me to know?” can work just fine. 

Do you need to do any price anchoring? Or are you asking their budget or asking them to pre-select from a menu? 

It can be helpful to add a “how did you hear about me” section, too!]
